3. Tell us about the people in your family. What do you want to know? There's dad, the theoretical chemist now on the university admin ladder, who's an incurable workaholic. There's mum, who..does law, and in a lot of ways is closer to my age than hers. There's the younger brother, who's due to go into the army next year (Ha!). And there used to be shrimp, but they only lasted about a day.

49. What makes the world go round? Long, long ago, near the beginning of things, a dinosaur sneezed, and that started it going. There just hasn't been enough friction to stop it since then. It's slowing down though.
